Manic Street Preachers - This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours (Japanese Version) (Epic Records)

This is the Manics' fifth official album to date. If you are a fan of their older stuff, this album is probably not for you, being more similar to their last one, "Everything Must Go".

The songs are a lot softer, and deal more with getting a message across. The band has changed a lot over the years, and "This Is My Truth” keeps that legacy going strong. The album proves their lyrical power and musical strength.

The album first starts with the new single 'Everlasting', first hearing this song, it's puzzling why you have just paid so much for the album. However, it progresses greatly along the way, digging deep into the Manic Street Preachers' soul. The song has emotion and meaning, unlike many of the other bands around right now.

The Japanese version has two bonus tracks, 'Socialist Serenade' and 'Black Holes for the Young'. 'Socialist Serenade', is worth the extra money, it has feeling and flows nicely, on to listen to this over and over again.

'Black Holes For The Young', can be found on 'The Everlasting' single, it is a good song, but not worth the money you have to pay for it. In conclusion, This is for big fans of The Manic Street Preachers who are willing to pay the extra money. The bonus track, 'Socialist Serenade', is worth the money alone. Although, there is a good chance that it may appear on a single in the near future, as 'Black Holes for the Young' already has.

However, for those buying their first Manics album, just buy the normal version.
